Several page errors on loading the blue May 15, 2003 1:16 PM Subscribe
Surely I am not the only one noticing an unusual number of errors when trying to load pages from the blue side:

Yay! PHP all the way (god I'm glad there's someone else out there who uses it... every job in East Anglia seems to be for ASP not PHP).
I've not noticed any errors though, but then I only tend to drop in between 8-6 GMT/UTC

All joshin' aside, I am basically not able to load MetaFilter at all right now, though I can get in by going to MetaTalk.
I have deleted all of my MeFi cookies, just in case that was part of the problem.

At noon here, when all the east coast slackers have lunch, it's 9am, which is when all the west coast slackers hit their desks first thing in the morning, and they all load and reload and re-re-load metafilter. the query errors get worse from there.
basically, you just have to stop hitting refresh so often, you idiot. Think of the community. It's pretty much all your fault.

but mostly, it's quonsar's fault.
