using IE for Mac Classic, I cannot post on Metafilter June 19, 2004 9:21 AM Subscribe
Since I'm able to post this, I have to assume I have not been banned from Metafilter. And yet, using IE for Mac Classic, I cannot post on Metafilter.

(what happens, is, I can get a post to the point of Previewing it, but then I cannot post it: the post button doesn't work. posted by ParisParamus at 9:24 AM on June 19, 2004
I've seen that phenomenon in IE on classic a long time ago when Matt, I presume, was tinkering with stuff. Tried mozilla/other browser yet, that sorted it out for me. posted by dabitch at 9:54 AM on June 19, 2004
Actually you have been banned. Your ability to post is a bug in your other browser. posted by Space Coyote at 10:19 AM on June 19, 2004
It's not a bug, it's a feature. posted by lazaruslong at 11:24 AM on June 19, 2004

Actually PP has been on his bestless than worst behavior on the EU vs USA thread; two-fifths cogent arguement, two-fifths pot stirring, one-fifth spit-take-lines like "I am about the least biggoted, xenophobic person you will ever meet."
You've clearly taken a step back from the brink; now if we could get some of the other agent provocateurs on both sides to do the same, this site will be much more fun.
Ooops, I forgot how many MeFites are Anti-Fun. posted by wendell at 10:34 AM on June 21, 2004
Society needs people like PP and their fractured take on life. Please fix this asap.
Camino's great, but it's only for X: PP noted he is on Mac Classic.
PP, perhaps you could try WaMCom, built on Mozilla 1.3.1 for Mac Classic [15MB stuffit file]. It's not bleeding edge, certainly, but it's the bleedingest you'll get for Classic. posted by britain at 12:02 PM on June 21, 2004
