You seem to find these broken threads quite often. Do you go looking for them or do you just spend a lot of time in the archives?

Just curious.

I used to spend a lot of time in the archives. Initially to read the best arguments, insults, and inevitable flame-outs. rodii's departure was a particularly sad moment for me, at the time. I also followed certain posters through their history, initially to find their button, later to understand their disposition more clearly. Now I only use it to look up advice or insight on a particular subject that I'm working on. Reading the old arguments kinda bores me now...and, if you go through my history, makes me look like an ass.

Depends on the thread in question. However, unlike Bluetrain, I spend the most time searching through my own archives. My life has been sorta... blah recently, and I've been rereading my own stuff to try to pinpoint exactly where I lost my flame.

In this case, somebody posted a link to the thread (although I dont remember where) and I wanted to see what they were pointing at.
