MeFiSF! Fri, Feb 11, 2005, 7:00 PM. Odeon Bar, 3223 Mission St (near Valencia). Email me if you want a reminder later this week. We can't promise $5 rebates, but we do welcome new members!
Should I round up mathowie (#1) or the kid (#-1) on my way there?

Oh, and while no $5 rebates, we will be holding the first (of a series) of our live interviews here. Regulars, newbies, and nobodies are welcome, as long as you entertain me.
Pre-emptive shout-out to yentrouc, of the uocsf clan.
And iconomy -- don't think I've forgotten you, although I might by Friday, sorry.

I have a hostage. He's been fairly solid (and stoic) in the whole "I'm not #1" stuff.
I'm thinking maybe I took the wrong guy. It looks like him; it even has the Cold Fusion expertise of a #1, but still....
mathowie would not break this quick. He'd offer bogus passwords before skipping to "I have no idea what *aaaaaaaaugh* you are *kkkkkkkkillllme* talking about *uuuuuuungh!*", like this poser has.

San-mefi, as opposed to the NY affiliated Asshole-mefi.
No we need to distinguish between:
1. various San's on the West coast
2. various east coast annoyances
On the first point, one has the city, east bay, the peninsula, So Cal, and other. On the second, Boston, DC, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and other.
Besides weather, they have us tied up. I mean, sure weather is nice here, but the east coasters have stolen the bulk of culture. My vote -- we don't let 'em have ours. But still mercilessly mock their attempts.

Agreed, this should be the theme of this little get-together -- mocking the east-coasters. I have some east-coast friends, and something is terribly wrong with them. Not evil wrong, but simply annoying wrong.

When we get there, let's line a bunch of table coasters up on the east side of the table and mock them. DaShiv - think you can capture that in a photo? I'll bring the compass.

Okay, but the west aligned coasters have to be cooler, as we are, you know.

I'd probably do it anyway at this point.

What? I thought Spider-Man told me that I'm supposed to use my powers for good.

He only said that because he, himself, is an East-coaster.

Oh, god. I thought y'all were deriding the east bay. I felt all excluded. I'll bring a snow-globe and a hurricane-in-a-bottle, and we can sacrifice them at midnight. That should vanquish the fuckers.

And that's SFMeFi, not MeFiSF. Like the MoMA.
