I am TOO logged in. The thread has been taken out. February 15, 2005 6:42 AM   Subscribe

When viewing a deleted thread (While logged in) I see a bit at the bottom that says "You are not currently logged in. Log in or create a new account."

I can confrim that this is happening in every thread that is currently missing off of the front page.

Firefox 1.0, WinXP, &c.

I just noticed this as well when I was following links from Metatalk to MeFi proper. I am logged in, but am still seeing the "you need to login" language at the bottom of the the blue thread.

Is this part of the same problem of lofi not basically working if you're logged out?

But somehow missed you.

Always figured it doesn't matter what it says at the bottom of a deleted thread, as nobody can comment on them anyway. If it's just a default "you are not logged in" due to a quick hack to 'delete' threads, well then so be it, at least the reason for deletion is read-worthy every time. ;)

I hadn't looked at the time. Ends up it shows that footer information when the thread is closed. Perhaps it would be better to just post the thread-closed infomration at the top and bottom?
