Something is deeply wrong with MeFi... the front page is simply choc-a-bloc with great links!

Wow.

A distinct lack of newsfilter. A whole bunch of well-supported posts with multiple interesting links. A lot of "best of the [current] web" stuff. I haven't been this pleased with the MeFi front page for ages.

Sadly, rush cried himself into a corner, sprang for the exit, and now won't risk losing (the remains of his) face by coming back. FWIW I liked him too, and thought he was treated unfairly, but he didn't handle it too well.

Now, brace for a n00b counterattack with single-link FPPs to news sites!
