Bloglines not notifying when new posts are published

For some reason, I'm not getting notification of new posts to MetaFilter through bloglines. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

More detail:

In the "My Feeds" section on the left, where each blog shows the count of new posts, MetaFilter just doesn't increment when there are new posts.

If I click the link to MeFi, then I see the new posts in the right window, no problem. However, even if I say "mark all as new", the count still doesn't go up.

This is only happening with the MetaFilter feed (for both atom.xml and rss.xml), but not for Ask Metafilter, nor any other blogs I subscribe to. The problem started about two weeks ago. I've tried unsubscribing, and resubscribing, but still no dice. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a browser issue. Probably caching the information in the left frame.

I'm having the same thing. I just assumed there had been no posts in 2 weeks. Isn't AskMe the new Metafilter anyway?

Terrapin: Wouldn't that result in no feeds updating?

terrapin: It's only happening for the MeFi feed, all other blogs are behaving normally, including AskMeFi

And I'm using Firefox right now, but it's happening in IE, as well.

I'm having the same problem as Gamblor, Firefox on Windows 2000/XP. Bloglines doesn't show new postings for MetaFilter but Ask Me (and all my other subs) are OK.

I have the same problem, and I've seen it in Safari, Firefox/Mac, and IE-Win. My settings are that only updated feeds appear in the list, so I'm not seeing MeFi at all, but if I click the "n New Feeds" links, then I get the new MeFi posts. If I check the box to save a post, then MeFi appears in the list with the correct count (including both saved posts and new posts.) I've tried unsubscribing and then resubscribing twice with no change in this behavior.

It's a problem with Bloglines. I've been having the same problem with a few different feeds. I emailed them, and they are aware of the problem and are working on it.

To see the new posts, click on the folder your MeFi feed is in, or the link that tells you the number of total feeds.

I fixed it by switching which RSS feed I use.

I'm having the same problem and similar problems with some of my other feeds as well. I emailed and they wrote back saying they'd look at it.

Appears to be fixed now after Bloglines did some maintenance on Saturday night.
