Instead of bowling, some email chatter has resulted in a suggestion for the Big Time again this Monday or Tuesday. Certain bay area celebs and perhaps even this fellow might be present. Any takers? Other ideas?

Sounds like most people want Monday, but I'll be bummed if kindall misses another one. We haven't specified a time yet, but I've been thinking 7-9ish; Kindall, can you make it at any time on Monday including a little early (5-6ish) or a little late (10...?) ?

Well, my parents are in town and fly out Tuesday afternoon. I can't really skip out on them Monday night.

But don't worry, there will be others! If it works best for everyone else on Monday, then on Monday it should be.

I'm potentially in as well, but I probably won't know for sure till the afternoon (assuming it is Monday). I've been looking forward to a meetup out here since I moved to the area last month.

I feel like the meetup should start whenever there's a quorum (which I think of as "2 people"). I can't promise to be there at 5, because I still have to arm-wrestle my sister for the car, but since my brother should be joining me, maybe he can tickle her or something and give me an advantage.

Ah, the joys of coming home!

This Tuesday evening, at 9:00 PM, all MeFites over 21 are welcome at Chop Suey, where my band will be performing second on the bill. Our first show in three years, and probably our last show until at least December.

I've got a mere consumer-grade digital but the steady, rock-solid hands of a brain surgeon. My blurry photos are expressions of art, as we'll see following the meetup.
