The signal to noise ratio in that thread made me have to turn up my iPod.

I could have deleted it after just a couple posts, but trusted insomnia_lj that maybe the story was new (I didn't have time to read all the links).
I'll ax it.

Well, I'm certainly not going to base my call for anarchy on that Arrested Development thread.

Damn. I've been revolting for years but I never made much mischief.

I thought mischief's callout would be about this.

I rather enjoyed arguing with myself. Shame. Although I must admit I was getting snarky and I would have had to put the smackdown on me.

This post was deleted for the following reason: we've covered this already this week
"covered already this week" unlike, say, Katrina. Katrina posts got deleted a lot, too.
;)

"How about this unabashed doublepost?"
And still, Beedogs double-posted after only two months, remains.
Oh, the huge manatee.

I'm guessing that if the US got hammered by hurricanes continuously for 4 years, at some point Matt would probably close a hurricane thread saying it was "covered already this week".

Speaking of posting guidelines, I don't think crackpot 9/11 conspiracy theories are the best of the web.
Especially not twice in one day and god knows how many times this week.

Where is the logic? This white phosphorous thread is deleted when it actually adds something new to what was posted several days ago (and that older post has rolled off of the front page). Yet the second 9/11 conspiracy post, the second today, stays? The Pat Robertson hates PA post remains although it was already discussed in two very active threads which were still on the front page at the time it got its own FPP. It certainly added nothing new, except for the added recognition that being on the front page brings. The religion post that dios bitched about being a double was deleted, but I am not sure it was actually double (it was a trollish post, but it was still deleted as being double). Where is the logic in all of this? Oh well, I think I should go dig up another 9/11 conspiracy link and put it on the front page, there are still a few minutes left in the day to get a perfect trifecta of repetitive looniness going.

I posted a FPP on the 9th. Now I seem to be able to post again (on the blue). Is this in the right thread? Is everyone seeing this?

I think it's the same trust afforded to anyone that isn't bevets, a known spammer, or the like. No special authority that the rest of us aren't granted as well.

Speaking of anarchy, I propose that a link to the mushroom thread be placed on the posting guidelines as an example of what not to do.

I don't the fact that Raymond Chandler is only given short mention at the end of this FPP. He deserves better treatment. Can we delete this please?
