Checkmarks next to best-answers-marked-by-everyone... December 6, 2005 6:40 PM   Subscribe

In the "Best Answers" section of AskMe's Fantastic Posts page, would it be possible to add checkmarks next to best-answers-marked-by-everyone also marked as best-answers-by-the-original-poster?

Actually while we're at that page, it would be cool to see who gave the answer as well as who suggested it.

The comment number of the answer I can live without.

Actually, actually, while we're at that page, how about an rss feed for the fantastic posts (including the question and the answer in the rss result)?

How's about also grouping the fantastic posts so that you don't have them show up multiple times? Perhaps have the number of times they've been voted for in parens so like "3030303 (3)".

Yeah, how's about that?

Going down this path, we'll eventually just get the whole subsite down to just one line -

There are many ways to improve that page. It was a two minute hack. But I've got loads of other stuff to get out first, so it'll be a while before I revisit that page (and extend it to metafilter as well, etc).

Also, could you put a counter on that page showing all the time you could have been spending fighting off evil many-sock-puppeted password-hacking nefarios but instead were churning out ponies like some kind of reverse glue factory?

This is a half-joke. I mean, hell, I just asked for one, too, didn't I?

Just what I was coming in here to say. Glad you said it first.

In my bitchier-than-usual pre-caffeine phase this morning, I was considering asking what the heck you were doing now that this was your dayjob, other than rolling around, naked and oiled and gleeful, in a big pile of cash.

I keed. I keed.
