so, I live in San Jose. Anyone have an opinion on the best way for me to get up there? I enjoyed the one I stopped by in Seattle during my job interview there and I'm totally up for another :)

I hope you do, too!
JZig, are you talking about routes or mode of transport?

JZig: if public transport, you could take Caltrain from San Jose to Millbrae, then BART from Millbrae to SF Civic Center, then Muni Metro N Judah line outbound to 9th & Irving. Or just take Caltrain all the way to SF & take Muni from there.

...or if driving, take 280 North to Hwy 1 (19th Ave.) & turn right on Irving Street.

I was asking for general suggestions. I have a car, but the last time I drove up to SF it kind of sucked (was backed up on 101 north forever), and I don't know the area too well.
Thanks obloquy, that drive doesnt look too bad, and I'll look into public transporation too.

I may be able to take someone(s) up from the south bay, because I'll certainly be driving from Sunnyvale/Santa Clara and I wouldn't wish the public transit chain on anyone to get up there.
If you can manage to get to, say, the Mercado off 101, it would make it easy.
