Hypothetically, if a MetaFilter member was taking his first trip to New York City on Memorial Day Weekend, and he set aside some time on the evening of Friday, May 26 for a Manhattan Meetup, hypothetically, where and when should such a meeting take place? [mi]

I'm most afraid of the Pimps and the CHUDs. And my wife is concerned that Woody Allen will try to daterape me. I'm trying to convince her that those things rarely happen in Bloomberg's NY, right?

VERY VERY hypothetically, if you keep drinking into late June, I could join the party.

I heard that 6/30 might be viable in that it is the day one of us enters (sadly) the unemployment roles.

I used to hang with the CHUDs before the movie came out. They weren't so bad then, but I hear they've gotten all swell-headed now that they're rich and famous.

I will clear my calendar for it; I'm still somewhat disappointed in myself for not making it to the last one.

And once again, for clarity's sake: this is the Revival over by the Union Square, and not the Revival in Harlem, yes? I fear that ColdChef's spouse may have a stroke if we take him to that one.
