I'm in a foreign country (bosnia) and i turn up on mefi to congratulate Migs and rile the english and hey presto - no world cup threads at all - has the banhammer come down ? Has the Moratorium Moratorialirized ?
Has Europe finally left the Mefi ?

Regarding Miguel, I've been reading his online columns in order to improve my Portuguese. Here's the latest one.

As he says: "A Itália e Portugal são, neste momento, aliados fiéis, que se desejam ver na final. A Itália far-nos-á o favor de eliminar a Alemanha e nós faremos à Itália o favor de eliminar a França."

or, my translation: "Italy and Portugal are at this moment faithful allies who wish to meet each other at the finals. Italy will do us the favor of eliminating Germany and we will do Italy the favor of eliminating France."
