Blogs on Medieval history June 11, 2002 7:33 AM   Subscribe

Of all the blogs out there, I've been unable to find any relating to a field that I'm very interested in: medieval history (or history at all, for that matter). Anybody else out there share this interest or know of any weblogs like this?

Not the era you're looking for, but I love this: Bloggus Caesari.

No problem. I wish I remembered where I found it, possibly from Jorn Barger. It has been slumbering in my bookmarks for months, and your question reminded me of it. My brother may know of some medieval links, he does medieval history.

Thanks for the links, crunchburger/ljr/ceiriog. They all look interesting, especially Bloggus Caesari.

Worth a look! It's magnificent. Now we know that what the English have usurped as "British understatement" is, in fact, entirely Welsh. ;)

*blushes*

Gotta agree, the Ancient World Web site is great, and I guess the closest thing to a history blog you'll find. If you haven't already seen it, have a look at Tufts' Perseus project. Unfortunately not much middle ages stuff, but let me tell ya, the classics section is impressive, if tricky to navigate.

Wow - digital medievalist sure is cool...

Not strictly weblogs, but some really great medieval-centric sites listed here.

Thanks for the nice comments about my Digital Medievalist site. I do appreciate them, and I like Bloggus Caesari so much I linked to his site on the Ides of March.
