I miss Pete Wilson, to be honest. But, apparently, I can only say it once in that particular thread. I've tried posting the sentiment multiple times in that thread, but when I hit "post" nothing happens. [more inside]

Have you tried the usual logging out, throw away cookies, logging in, trying different browser etc. yet?

I don't have patience for this. Too bad there's not an ignore feature on MetaFilter. I'll just have to use my zen focus to do it on my own.

son_of_minya, I very rarely ever say this ... honestly ... but in this case you were a very unintentional butt. Okay, slightly intentional, but I didn't really think that I could post the exact same thing in the same thread. After all, I can't do it with Pete, and he's no different than you. Peace, bruh. I love ya.

But I love crash more, and you just have to deal with that.

i do bleeve the mattster a while back stuck in a bit of code which calculates a checksum or something. it ignores any attempt to post a duplicate comment.

the multiple minya mockery got through because your first comment had an extraneous space in it. browsers skip whitespace so you can't see the space on the page, but if you look in the source it is there.
