Portland Meetup

Anybody who is going to the Metafilter Meetup in Portland, OR as discussed in this thread tomorrow at 6pm, please post inside.

The meeting will take place at Mcmenamins Imbrie Hall, on Cornelious pass. The Address is 4045 NW Cornelius Pass Road
Hillsboro, Oregon 97124, easily accessible via Highway 26.

6PM, Friday we will meet at in the barn, first floor.

*cough* they dont take reservations after 3pm on fri. I will be wearing a blue sweatshirt with light blue stripes on the arms, black jean pants, I have blond hair.

I'm just assembling some beers now - anyone up for some beer trivia? Or, uh, would that be too dorky? I mean, is this how Lisa felt that summer at the beach?

!@#$ ... didn't see the original thread get a date set. Sorry, I've got a date in corvallis ... and, while you're all very cool people, the opportunity to eventually get sweet lovin' from the sweet lil' thang that I'm going on the date with outweighs any benefits that could be derived from attending the meetup.

SpecialK: You're ruling out that you might get some sweet lovin' from one of us? I hear sweet lovin' is pretty common at MeTa meetups.

[cries because Klamath Falls is WAY too long a drive to Portland] Hope all of you guys have a good time up there. I second SpecialK's "sweet lovin" excuse (though it's not with SpecialK :-) However, if Matt wants to loan me the Metafilter Helicopter, I'll sacrifice and make the trip. Mmmm. Beer.

Hey Tom, is NE short for NorthEast or New England? Because if it's the latter .. that's dedication, man.

Uh oh, my ability to make it tonight has been severely diminished, but I will get out there if I can. This really sucks for me 'cuz I have questions for Matt about pvrblog as I'm working on a similar site for MP3 players.

I hear sweet lovin' is pretty common at MeTa meetups.
Only if a few MonkeyFilter-ites show up...

I'm afraid my own plans to go to Portland have fallen through, so Keyser, if FedEx delivers a box that's 6-feet-by-3-feet-by-2-feet this afternoon, you don't have to open it right away.

TurboDog - let me know if transportation is the issue. I'm coming in from NE (althought originally from the NE NE, HappyDaz!) but am willing to sweep wide if anyone is without transportation.
