Cold Fusion error (March 2004) March 2, 2004 6:54 AM Subscribe
strange: I just went to metafilter.com and got the following error:
Invalid CFML construct found on line 277 at column 2801.
I then went to ask.metafilter.com and got no error
I then logged in at ask.metafilter.com and now the blue works fine
I tried this with both Mozilla and IE

I get this too with Epiphany on Linux. I've erased my metafilter.com cookies and I just cannot access www.metafilter.com at all - I just get the Coldfusion error. :/
MeTa and Ask seem fine.

I'm looking at the RSS and the latest post seems to have been a rather long y2karl-esque topic with lots of title attributes in the links. Perhaps a special character somewhere in there threw a cog in the gears?

it appears to still be broken. I just got an email from a concerned reader with no account who wanted me to pass along a comment.

Same here. I'm fine if I'm logged in but get the error if I log out.
Must be something funky in the cached page.
