Kinja Link Doesn't Work April 21, 2004 3:26 AM Subscribe
In the tradition of asking questions about items in the sidebar of MeFi, I can't get the Kinja link to work in either Mozilla (preferred) or IE. Both attempts result in "The weblog addresses listed below are not valid. Please enter URLs in the form www.example.com" Granted, I could be un-lazy and type in www.metafilter.com, but I thought I should point it out.
It only works for "everyone and their mother"; sucks to be the rest of us.

Yeah, it doesn't work for me either. I have a Kinja account and logged in. All I get is an error page and a pop-up asking me to login to Kinja. If I login, I get:
The weblog addresses listed below are not valid. Please enter URLs in the form www.example.com

Ajpresto, I assume you're using Windows and not a Mac? I'll try and look into it, this is very weird though. It sounds like the site's URL isn't being properly passed to the application.

FWIW, it worked fine from my PC running firefox. Let me test IE 6... also worked fine.

If you're debugging: It failed for me on IE6 on two different XP machines. It also fails on FireFox under OS X. However, it worked on Safari and IE on OS X and IE6 on XP running on VirtualPC.
Don't ya love javascript?
