Could someone explain the pancake thing?
I was really pulling for the squirrels last night. three out of four in a row! But, alas, it wasn't to be.

Um.
Could someone explain the pancake thing.
(Insert smiley here to signify that I'm laughing but still sort of stumped.)
(God, I feel so uncool.)

Okay, wait. So the pancake thing isn't an actual previously established thing, but merely an incarnation of a more generalized thing. I think I get it now. Maybe I'm not so uncool as I thought I was.
No, I still am.

It's because it's Friday. Tuesday is Ice Cream, Thursday is Squirrels. Monday is Death Day. I hate Mondays.

I still haven't seen any cogent arguments that would make me turn away from waffles. Except sourdough pancakes. Ever have sourdough pancakes? MMmmmm.

dchase: Pancakes definitely win in the ease-of-use category, but I'm down with the waffle vibe. For me, if I want ease-of-use, I tend toward french toast.

There is no syrup bias! However, there is a "vast pancake consuming conspiracy" afoot...

Ever have frozen waffles made like french toast (thaw 'em, dip 'em in beaten eggs w/ cinnamon and/or cardamom and a dash 'o cream, honey and pinch of salt)? Serious - they're awsome.
