Viewropa: we don't talk about US politics November 2, 2004 9:14 AM Subscribe
If any folks would like to escape from the probable concentration on the US election here for the next day or two (and maybe many weeks after), you are all very welcome to come and discuss European issues over a cup of tea and scones at Viewropa...
I have two bottles of wine, and windows open with Metafilter, Viewropa, and Google News.. . obviously, for one night* only, I'm the queen of the worldnews! Tomorrow I shall return to my usual fog. Except with a hangover.
*well, it's night here already

"You can lead a horologophile, but you can't make her drink."
You know who said that, don't you?
That's right. Dorothy Dandridge.

Didn't she also say "There's nothing certain in life but death and Texas"?
