Change the RSS feed? November 30, 2004 4:13 PM   Subscribe

AskMeFi-related: Would it be possible to change the RSS feed from AskMeFi to put an excerpt of the question in the title tag, or whatever it is that's appearing in my Thunderbird newsreader as "Question number [#]"?

I really love reading the site, but the volume of questions per day is such that when I do get a chance to read them, I'm invariably required to scan quickly through and see which ones are interesting to me. As it stands, I have to actually drill down into each thread to even find out what the question is.

It'll happen once there is the option to add a title to AskMe posts (like there is in the blue). It's a pony that is currently still in the stable.

Someone did this themselves, and posted it the last time this question was asked. That's all I got.

Try this: http://www.xqse.com/feeds/askmefi.php, from this thread. This is what I use; it puts the first several words into my Live Bookmark in Firefox.
