Another 30 seconds with bunnies December 15, 2004 12:52 PM Subscribe
Matt, it would be great if you could whip up a little script that would automatically post to the front page every time a new "in 30 seconds with bunnies" movie is posted. It would save us users a lot of time and effort.
metatalk in 30 seconds with bunnies. oh, the carnage.

I don't understand the feature request.
If someone posts a "bunnies" movie then the script is supposed to post it on the front page? But, it's already on the front page. So what does the script do? Does it post a message that notifies us when there is a new "bunnies" movie up, kinda like a "hot fresh donuts" sign or something? I don't get it.

I think what jjg means is that there should be a script that polls the Angry Alien site for the occurence of new bunny flash so it can be immediately posted to the front page.
I'd only support such a feature if we were to include new "Get Your War On" cartoons, Onion infographics, iPod releases, odd eBay auctions and a Google news feed as part of the process.

That'd kick ass! There's never enough bunnies or kittens on the 'Net.
Wait, you're being sarcastic? You bunny-hating bastard! I'll dog you with smarmy remarks for the rest of your career for this. And I'm telling all my friends to ignore you.

Great idea, too, but I think he means a script that would automatically find any bunny film on the 'Net and post it to MeFi as soon as it's created.

Hee Hee. However, there is only one active user in that original 15 and he certainly does decide this stuff.

*sigh* Maybe someday Matt will finally clear out those dummy accounts from the beta test, and I can assume my rightful user number. Then I'll get some respect around here! Or, wait, probably not.

Why would Matt have to write a script to do this? Anybody who has an account and some scripting know-how could just do it themselves, no?
