I don't like the Grateful Dead, but I like this idea--I read about it in the thread about the Dead posting their songs online--and I really hope that no one comes along just to be an asshole and dereails this.

Not a deadhead per se, but I like the Dead and have even defended them from haters a time or two. Perhaps I'll show.

Just dropping by to suggest Burrito Bar on Church Street... for no other reason than the black lighted, dayglow painted, candle laden interior. I don't know if deadheads actually patronize the place, but it sure looks like they decorated it.

I used to walk by the Burrito Bar every day last summer/fall, xo, and I know of what you speak. The guy they had painted on the door who transforms from a businessman into a crazy hippie was pretty, uh...interesting...

I'd be in, depending on the exact time and place. Got a phat new job downtown that may require working longer hours, so I'll probably be even more vehemently pro-weekend-night than I usually am :)

I've been waiting for one of these. That combined with the opportunity to beat up hippies and steal their weed makes it even more inviting. They're like walking free weed vending machines!

I just read through this closer today, and, for some reason, I didn't realize that this really was a Deadhead meetup. Not enough coffee yesterday, perhaps. So, regarding my above comment and after re-reading interrobang's:

I realized that asshole was me (at least in the thread), albeit unintentionally. I was totally kidding and apologize to any I may have offended. One of my closest friends is a Deadhead.
And sorry for derailing something as simple as an invite.
I'm not a huge Dead fan, but was serious about coming.
