I'll take it MetaTalk Skallas! And I want to know where you get off?
BTW happily taking my meds, taking it to MetaTalk and definitely wondering where you get off. . .

For fuck's sale you people, do you really intend to be making this as bad as you are? All of you step away from the keyboard and take a break, now.

Please.

Opus Dark (an insolent hyena who has not been keeping up with every thread on MetaFilter) politely asks (irreverent vulture that he is) wherefrom has arisen this dreadful rift? IOW, which thread is emitting a loud, slapping sound?

Here it is, Your Irreverence:
> > I hate frontpage fuckups!
> BTW, its "front page" not "frontpage".
etc.

And for people keeping score, it should have been "front-page fuckup" (one hyphen) or "front-page fuck-up" (two hyphens), depending upon where you live and whose dictionary you use, and "its" (as a contraction for "it is") requires an apostrophe. By the way, I am a Microsoft(R) FrontPage(R) fuckup (or fuck-up): I am useless with it.

I'm a little curious about just why one would "take [something] to metatalk." Perhaps I'm missing something, but is MeTi somehow more "badass" than MeFi?
Perhaps we should add a seperate weblog just for flaming... You can explain to me there how that ought to have gone in the "new features" section...

That's it? A mere snit, my good fellows.

Were this a physical event, I would not inject myself - absorbing a fisted blow intended for someone else is not my idea of a happy Saturday night...

Since we are but bits and bytes, however...

Its not weather you win or loose, but a frontpage by any other name would smell as sweat, especially if one's senses were suitably blessed by one of the Fluoxetine priests.

If either or both of you now have a quarrel with me, please take it to MetaFilter...

Thanks pracowity, for directing me to the fray, and for your impartial application of kettle-black.

My work here is done. Up, up, and away...

I've done nothing. Only taken it to MetaTalk as directed on high.

It really wasn't any big thing. Why I was asked to bring it here in lieu of some sort of a symantic "lapse" I've commited, I'm still in want of an explanation myself.

Sorry for ze confusion. Confused myself I am.

It looks to me as if skallas misread the situation by thinking that crasspastor was overreacting to someone else's front-page typo, when crasspastor was just scolding (and correcting) crasspastor for committing a front-page typo.

j.edwards: MetaTalk is the place to talk about MetaFilter nd how the site is used. That's all "take it to MetaTalk" means.

See, one more reason people shouldn't feel the need to correct their posts after the fact.

But it is definitely more "badass". :)

Because that I thought you knew I was correcting myself, it seemed to me that you had a problem with my post and were disqualifying it forthwith. And anyone, I hope can see, that when it was "self-explanatory" that I was correcting myself, skallas' post looked alot like fightin' words--to the proud poster that is. You know? Your post's your baby right?

In the sense, that my post in general looked like it should be in MetaTalk and that by "taking my medication" it seemed that I was being told my post was a bunch of hooey. All because I thought skallas knew it was me.

See there?

Big misunderstanding and I apologize.

But if they did fight, who would have won?
