Rats - my daughter is part of the Hoover Middle School band playing the national anthem for the Giants vs Dodgers game that night! Have a great time everyone - I'll be thinking of you (maybe I can get on camera and do a metafilter shout out on TV)

I don't see any problem, Gucky. This is a casual, resto-based meetup on the early side. As long as your kid is fine in a restaurant, I'm certainly fine with your kid!

For the purpose of additional nerdliness -- because a bunch of people from the Internet converging on a pizza joint just isn't nerdy enough -- I will be capable of providing Free Wireless Internet Access. So long as I can get a cell signal in there, that is.

I am prepared to enable actual Posting From The Meetup for those folks bringing WiFi capable devices.
