Is this something I'd have to have a Metafilter account to know about?

Users commenting just to say they haven't heard of the topic of discussion is 100% noise and garbage. [more inside]

What the world need now is crap, more crap?

ok, flag it as crap we know you want to. But do we both need you flagging it as crap and then posting a crap "flagged as crap" message in the allegedly crappy thread? Comment should be flagged as masturbatory noise.

Noise in the menstruation question.

1, 2, 3, 4 are not answering the question.

This question is great, but the answers are not

This is a fine example of a decent question and good responses made much less satisfying because they are interspersed with responses from assholes who are just posting to see their names.

Can we get some moderation or is this just a free-for-all?

Too much of this discussion is noise and pathetic behavior. It is really difficult to have a discussion when several people seem more interested in directly insulting the poster. Can we get some moderation or is this just a free-for-all? (There is more inside).

Maybe they didn't hear you the first time it was deleted

What do you do when you post condescending noise in an Axme and it gets deleted? Post it again in essentially the same form, of course. But wait! Don't forget to act indignant for maximum effect. [mi]

Noise in the cat question.

How about answering peoples' questions in AskMe, instead of berating them over their reasons for asking?

Y'know, just sayin'.
