The Favorites Experiment

As a follow-up to my previous MeTa, I've been running a little Mefi experiment where I strictly use favorites as references. Please join me inside for some bean cake and snark counseling. [more inside]

MeTa Favorites Of All Time?

Why doesn't MetaTalk have a "Popular Favorites Of All Time?" In MetaFilter and AskMe, when you click on the "Popular Favorites" tab, you can choose between 24 Hours, 7 Days, 30 days, and All Time. Why is the choice in the Grey only for 48 hours?

Pony: front page +fave links

Any chance we can get a +fave link on the front page for each item, especially on the green? (I'm thinking Digg-style, AJAX based would be very pretty, though potentially too Web 2.0 for the likes of some Mefites...)

Is anyone so hard-core into the community and MetaTalk that they actually start their browsing here instead of in the Filter? I may not be far from it. I find myself participating more over here.
