In this post Shepherd suggested a book mark exchange and mine arrived today. Thanks to Shepherd for both idea and execution and to everyone who sent in bookmarks. I got a lovely selection, including a library one you can use to track your reading (I mean, I use StoryGraph, but more manual methods are also good) and 3 bookmarks for non Anglophone bookshops. If other people taking part could check in, that would be lovely.

I would like to take the links from the text file of my exported comments (found in my edit profile page) and turn them into a bookmark file that I can import. I would like to avoid doing that manually. Does someone know of a relatively easy way to accomplish this? [more inside]

Is there a way to strip links from comments and posts I've favorited (for uploading into delicious or similar)? I tend to use favorites as bookmarks, but now I have thousands of favorites and no way to organize them.

FeatureRequest: MeFi bookmarks. I would love, on AskMeFi and MeFi, to be able to click "bookmark this link", and then be able to go to a page that lists those links I have bookmarked. Ideally sortable by post date and last comment date, searchable by keyword, but the sort/search isn't totally necessary.

"Why not bookmark it in IE/Mozilla?" Well, call me picky but I really prefer to reserve browser bookmarks for main pages of sites I visit ALL the time (i.e. MeFi/AskMeFi). It'd be nice to have a local archive of the stuff I'm tracking and want to keep coming back to.

Obviously there are hundreds of really interesting threads on MetaFilter / AskMetaFilter that I'd like to personally bookmark/tag to read for a later date.

Since we all have individual log-ins, is there any way (aside from adding a bookmark to my already huge bookmark file) of marking a thread as one we like/love/want to read later, so when we log in we can get a list of them? :)

WTF? Shane-a-go-go answers Shane's question as if it's his own and replaces the comment link with a link to a photobucket image. And mentions a site called linkagogo. Spam? Self-destructive attempt to get banned? WTF?
