Using the 'plain text' theme has a very small problem. In MetaTalk if you click on the category/topic of a post, the page it takes you to has the category/topic obscured by a brown box. (Slashing because sometimes it's called a Category and other times a Topic.)

Wish you hadn't closed
this thread so quickly, #1. CSS is mildly messed up (in addition to continuing problems you've noticed before) after your header fix on the plain-text theme, at least in IE (which I must use at work).

There's also a plain-text theme for metafilter, with a white background.

I've always wanted to ask this question, how do I get the nifty white background in Metatalk and Ask Metafilter? The white background theme seems only to work on the main page. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Would it be possible to get plaintext versions of MeTa and AskMe, which could be tied to our selection of same for MeFi in our profiles?

Is the plain-text version of Metafilter available through a URL hack or a GET request? i.e. can I get the plain-text version without changing my profile? That would be useful for Palm and other small-device versions, esp. for comment pages...
