Single Link, No Kids

"Another single-link FPP? WTF." I am here to testify to you, my brothers and sisters, that the good lord smiles just as brightly on front page posts with a single link as he does on those with many! Hallelujah!" [more inside]

It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his job depends on not understanding it.

One link music posts by mathowie? Ok. One link music post by plexi? Deleted.

Policy on single link product FPPs

This is a bad post. I don't dislike single FPPs, but a single link that points to a single product for sale on the internet, with no extra information or interesting stuff...is not in any way showing the best of the internet. There are hundreds of these for sale from all sorts of companies, and they've been around for a long, long time.

To top it all off, I question that and my post (containing one word: "Spamfilter?") was apparently removed. I can deal with that, but the issue at heart still exists.

Stop apologizing for one-link posts

Stop apologizing for one-link posts. Doing a half-assed Google search to make your post look more meaty will make it worse and waste our time.

Do single link front page posts irritate the heck out of anyone but me?

Do single link front page posts with no addtional text and no clue to contents of the destination in the link text irritate the heck out of anyone but me?

Is a Single Product Link Okay?

So a single product link (that's been linked before) is okay now? Or is it only because its "benbrown"? Curious.
