I think this is worth a MetaTalk thread--I just got back from the wedding of NortonDC and onlyconnect, two active members who met at a MetaFilter meetup.

The happy couple left for their honeymoon early this morning, so, no, they won't be at tonight's meetup. At the reception, there were little one-use cameras on every table, with tags that said, well, you know. I had my digital camera, but my usb cable is at the office, so I won't be able to post anything until tommorow.

Just breaking my vow of temporary silence to thread-jack: Mayor Curley also got married last week. I have pictures-o-plenty (as I was the photog), but will wait for the Mayor's permission before posting anything. yerfatmama was in attendance.

Okey dokey, I've posted my pictures. onlyconnect has been historically camera shy, so I didn't include any clear shots of her face, but I think you can still see that a good time was had by all. And, of course, there's a bit of a heavy emphasis on me, the MrsMoonPie, and the little MissMoonPie (no those aren't boogers--she had stitches out Friday).

terrapin, I assume said picture was approved by the subject, herself, though I don't know for sure. I'll post the rest if I get approval, but that'll take a few weeks.

Hah, naxosaxur, at least four of the nine people at my table were MetaFilterians, and I strongly suspect two of the others were, too, though I don't know their handles. It'd be a safe bet to say everyone at the table was a member, or a date, spouse, or child of a member. So, I guess, the answer is "yes."
