Hey, San Francisco, come have a drink with me - oh, say, Thursday, October 13th, from 7 PM on, at a venue to be determined. Do you have a suggestion? Please step inside and share it.

My favorite is Zeitgeist. Lots of room and big ole burgers! Also, beer.

I love Zeitgeist like a high-school girl loves a kitten. Or a puppy. But - amazing as it may seem - this opinion is in the minority, and our last one was there.

I am completely cool with the Ocean Beach bonfire, as long as someone else takes responsibility for the logistics.

I am happy with the Beach Chalet (near Ocean Beach - and with beer!), as long as there is no complaining about how far away it is. My heavens, people, it's on the N line - like every other wonderful thing in San Francisco.

But I would also love to hear about your favorite spots that offer alcohol, a bite of food, and room to loll around and chat.

[Light suitable for photography is completely optional. And perhaps even undesirable.]

Ack! The last three SF meetups have been on Thursday. I can't do Thursdays. I'd consider schlepping out to Ocean Beach to freeze my *** off in front of some bonfire, but not on a Thursday.

lucky 13 has a patio AND an awesome jukebox AND pinball AND delirium tremens on tap AND rockabilly kids AND area 51.

no food though, but FREE POPCORN (or like, 25 cents a bowl. whatever.)

3rd for Frjtz. Awesome joint. We should have a contingency plan though as it can be tight. Odds are probably good on a Weds. if we get there as close as possible to Miller Time.

I would probably turn up at the Lucky 13 also, if it would entice FishFucker out of his hatchery, but it's not a personal fave.

plus if i go up there and visit a bunch of "online friends" instead of hanging out with my girlfriend, there will be hell to pay.

Not that I have personal knowledge or anything, but I believe single men *can* get into the power exchange, it's just more expensive (nsfw link).

And, just fyi, the evening of the 12th is the beginning of Yom Kippur - so make sure you get some atonement in with those beers!

Heh, fishfucker, that made me laugh, but it's oh so true.

I'd love to catch up with the gang, though it'll be much later in the evening. Maybe I'll work out some sort of phone coordination closer to the date. I also wanted to add that the lovely miss Specklet will be in town later that week, should anyone want to join us in that round of socializing. More deets to come soon.

Well, I don't know about youse guys, but some of us are going to get together on Thursday, but I'd understand completely if you wait for naxosaxur. Who apparently is a doppelganger of mine.
