NYC Meetup

At the last NYC meet-up, a number of us had mentioned getting together this Saturday for a post-whatthehelldoIhavetobethankfulfor meetup. Anyone interested in going to the Ding Dong Lounge this coming Friday or Saturday?

I mention Friday because there seems to be a band/cover there on Saturday (not until 9pm though).

Also, the Ding Dong Lounge is on the UWS @ 929 Columbus Avenue.

not to be an ass (but, masters, remember that I am an ass; though it be not written down, yet forget not that I am an ass) but the poster for a saturday band on their main page was for a couple weeks ago. or do they have something else this coming saturday? (o, that I had been writ down an ass!)

Nah, I'm just an ignoramus.

I assumed (insert cliched joke here) that the website would be up to date so I didn't look at it closely...that said, I will make sure that this band thing isn't an recurring Saturday thing.

mostly they sometimes have djs, but I've never seen an actual band show up there. then again I've mostly been there only on weekday nights.

in any case I remain an ass.

Haha, I'm not totally bald, but it's pretty short. Although, I got it cut Wednesday, and it is already getting sort of grown-out fuzziness. Boo on that! I definitely need to find a place that'll give me the men's price.

shiny: my friends' anti-x-giving-gone-wrong-thing will actually take place on the proper day rather than saturday (wasn't sure -- like our president, I've been fooled before. and how) so I will in fact be able to plague the meetup with my presence.

/7:30 sounds fine; I'll be there at 7.
