Meetup reminder!
All MeFites within the greater Connecticut region are cordially invited to come on by Darbar India in Branford, CT, at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 28. (Two days from now.) As painstakingly hashed out in this thread. Here's a map; here's a restaurant review; here's the menu. (Thanks to Miko for those last two.) Hope to see you there!

I should be there, if I can figure out how to get from Southbury to Branford. (No good way, if I know my CT geography at all.)

Yeah. I-84 to Rt-8 to Rt-34 to I-95 would probably be the simplest (and maybe even the fastest) way. But that's not saying a lot. Or maybe Rt-8 all the way down to I-95 would be faster, even though it's longer. Damn CT civil engineers!

Wow! For reals? I thought when I left San Francisco I had given up all hope of making a MeFi meetup. And now this, practically in my backyard!

Too bad! A good time was had.
Here are the photos I took. And there's a video, but apparently it takes Google Video forever to make stuff public once it's posted.

Well worth the drive-by! Thanks for working out a time I could join you. I'll think of you all for future CT activities - great to meet everyone.

I just realized that photos were posted here. Mine are getting processed as we speak. The people at the local CVS have never heard of cross processing, so it may take a few days. Also, the negatives may be in tatters. Or taters. Taters would be better.
I feel bad because I forgot to shoutout Lorrer.
