I'll arrive sometime after 7, wearing my Dingle shirt.

And since I just finished my sinus infection antibiotics, it's one bourbon, one scotch and one beer for me!

Oh, and Eamon and goatdog, I'll hand you your mix CD directly if you show up. No waiting on the mail!

i believe someone offered his yard for the next one, at which we will undertake the great bourbon sno-cone experiment.
posted by crush-onastick at 9:37 AM on April 20, 2006

Clearly, I was way too sober last night: not only have I had bourbon sno-cones, but I make bourbon sno-cones all the damn time: we call 'em "whiskey slushies", and they're crazy good. It's an old New Orleans recipe from our friend's great-grandmother consisting of lemonade, orangeade, and a metric fuckton of Jack Daniels. So yummy and so very, very deadly.

But yeah, this summer me and the missus will host a thing, I promise. June-ish, I think.

Indeed. Fun time. Nice to meet you all.

And eamondaly, how on earth could you have not mentioned the sno-cone thing when we were talking about it ALL DAMN NIGHT? I take it this means you have some kind of magical ice crusher?
posted by ruby.aftermath at 5:11 PM on April 20, 2006

yes, i, too, question your failure to "remember" making bourbon sno-cones until just now. clearly, you are a pod person.
posted by crush-onastick at 5:45 PM on April 20, 2006

I was too distracted by monkey button boxes, obviously.

No ice crusher needed, by the way. There's so much liquor in the stuff that it can't quite freeze-- it simply forms a delicious, high-octane slush.
