DragonCon 2006 meetup? August 25, 2006 9:08 AM   Subscribe

Its that time! It's been asked before, and the scorn... she has been thrown. Let's do this thing again... who all is attending DragonCon 2006 in Atlanta, GA this labor day weekend? Come and meet at least two posters of the most awesome posters on MeFi. Such a deal! All previous meetup links are considered null and void for the purposes of this offer. Claims of awesomeness based on interviews with each poster's mother and friends, by way of martini infusion.

I live in Atlanta, just up the street from those hotels at Tech. Where would such a meet-up occur? I know a lot of people going to the con, but I'm probably not going myself. Still, I wouldn't mind raising a fry or glass with some area MeFites.

I'll be there, though only for a couple of days. If nothing else, the 'Con is worth experiencing for the sake of people-watching alone. And with the steady expansion of its scope, you never know what ancient and rarely seen actor or actress you might see.

I'll be on the Adult Swim panel on saturday (unsure as to the actual time) if any of you guys are around. We'll be showing 2 minutes of our new cartoon :)

Clunky, are you gonna be hanging out other than that? I'm the Director of Info Svcs, so I doubt I'll be able to check out the panel but it would still be cool to hang out somewhere with people.

yeah, I'll be around. I certainly don't want to miss the parade.

I live in Atlanta (rather close to that area) and would love to meet up although I probably won't attend DragonCon itself.
