Vegas Meetup: jonmc and pips are getting married!! Saturday 9/23, 9:30 p.m. at the Graceland Chapel. After the ceremony, we're all gonna party at the Carnival Court Flair Bar until the break of dawn. Please join us!
My husband and I got married at that chapel a few years ago. Congrats and have fun! Will Elvis be in attendance? We ended up with an old Elvis, not the young Elvis featured on the website, but he was still a blast.

I've purchased a stellar rockabilly shirt for the occasion and I've been practicing my lip curl. We're both very excited. We purchased our rings at a place in the diamond district called (no joke) The Futurama Diamond Exchange. I expected the salesman to tell to bite his shiny metal ass, but he was actually a very nice Israeli gentleman. I'm kind of stoked that many of the guests are going to be people I only know as pixels. Seems kind of appropriate somehow.
And yes, Elvis will be there. We get three songs of our choice.

Congratulations y'all. You picked a good place to get hitched, I've been hitched there way back in the day and one of my best friends has as well. Elvis is very friendly (and the skinny version) and people definitely have a good time. Plus, if I remember correctly people can watch it live as it happens on the interweb. All my best wishes.

We've bought our plane tickets, reserved our hotel, and purchased cirque du soleil tickets for "O" to attend just before the wedding, so I think barring some sort of horrible juju we are going to attend! Woohoo!
