It's probably still going on. It's like 11pm right now, I just got home, and when I left there were like 10 people still there.

Meetup summary:
Party at the Double Down- bacon martinis and ass juice were consumed.
Knoshing at Katz's Deli- pickles and Cel-Ray Soda.
Snacking at the BAMN! Automat- shaved ice and mac & cheese krokats.
So, basically, we're all fat pigs.

Much fun, all. The venue was just about perfect, and the turnout was suprisingly large--what, about 20 of us? My non-MetaFilter friend was quite impressed that so many folks would come out. Really--those who complain about how hard it is to meet people have no excuse if there's a meetup in their area.
I'm just sorry we had to leave early. We had an excellent dinner at Barolo, though I was feeling some rather umcomfortable after-effects from that fucking bacon martini; I think maybe the pork had been fermenting a bit too long.

Kidding aside, I had a good time, it was great meeting Messr. Moonpie and companions, and seeing the newlyweds, and so forth :) And yes, the porn was freaking disturbing, but otherwise it was a great place.
The ass juice was, unfortunately, rather underwhelming, but after a whiff of the bacon martini, I'm glad I made the choice I did.
