We’re having a party to celebrate Yeaster. What’s Yeaster? Lots of food, homebrewed beer and cider (and soda for the young and/or infirmed), muzak and good-natured blasphemy, that’s what. Not strictly a meetup, but shouts out may be involved (where two or three are gathered in its name, there Metafilter shall be). Party starts ~3:00 pm and ends when the beer is gone (and there’s a lot of it). I’ve e-mailed all local MeFites whose e-mails were listed in their profiles – those of you who have not received an invite, shoot me an e-mail and I’ll supply further details.

Orbitz tells me I can get a flight from Boston's Logan airport to Kansas City for $792 round trip.
Let me e-mail my pal in Nigeria and see if I can make it---I'm certain I'll be coming into a good chunk of change very soon and would love to party!
