YYZ Meetup September 25, 2007 3:40 PM   Subscribe

I'll be in Toronto tentatively from 10/5 - 10/14. If not, I'll be there the week after. Who wants to go drinking?

I'm always down for a meetup!

I live in Guelph, but if there's a meetup on a weekend, I'll be sure to head back and drag evstar along with me.

I'd like to add, Pie, that I'm scared by your title as I really don't want to hang out at Pearson Airport. Nothing personal, it's just that damn shuttle from Kipling is so depressing.

I'd be up for it assuming it's after the 9th and not the 11th. Of course, the 13th isn't great, either.

Oh, hell. Schedule it whenever, I'll see if I can make it.

First Thanksgiving, then conferences. But if it's the week after, it might be golden.

Drinking sounds good. Sunday the 7th is out for me, but any other date should work.

Wait, when's Thanksgiving again? I still haven't adjusted to October turkey day, dammit!
*looks up*

Ok, so long as it's the second (non-Thanksgiving) weekend as opposed to the first, I'm happy. Perhaps Friday the 12th?

I should be able to make it. Just so long as it isn't on Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm going to a Marlies game on the 12th and the falls on the 9th. I feel like a putz for not knowing it was Thanksgiving on Monday. I scheduled for that week because Columbus Day is a free vacation day for me without depleting my PTO.

I have a ticket to the lantern festival and I'm not sure I'm going on the 6th or the 7th. Sat the 13th? Wed the 10th?

I am completely booked from the 11th-14th inclusive. other than that, i'd love to join in..

Also, I'll be in town, the first (full) week of November, so if any one wants to have a "Part II" meetup then, I'm all for it.

(it's not a derail, it's a spur!)

So if we want all the Toronto people so far, a mid-week date of October 10 could work, but then we have to convince the Guelphites to make the trip midweek and we may not get the dief at all.

pie, what was that about "the week after"? The week after the weekend of October 12-14?

October 10 could work

That would be an election night meetup. I'm not sure what that means though :P

Yeah, the car is currently being repaired. If it isn't done by the time I leave next thursday, then I'll have to delay going up there by a few days.

Hey maudlin, I'm in Hamilton, well within the reach of transit to T.O. Evening activities would work just dandy. Even mid-afternoon could be done with a stretch. I positively ache for a GTA meetup man, positively!

Ok, if a group meetup is going to be impossible, then anyone who just wants to hang for a night, email me. It's in my profile. Thanks!

The 10th is ok but it means there will be no late night pub hop afterwards. :( Which is good in the sense that I won't be waiting for the streetcar for a half hour at 2am. Again.
