Excuse me, but how the f is it November already? Sorry, but this is blowing my mind. I seriously feel like I just missed an entire month. And I've been pretty sober since the last weekend I saw you all. (Granted that weekend went from Thursday to Tuesday, so maybe that has something to do with it.)

I hope to make it. This wll be my first week of being a downtown professional after years of self employed goof-off-i-tude. From what I remember the whole drinks after work thing is the point of going somewhere else to work.

Hey, none of us are sick anymore!

I am sad I missed the last one due to sickness and being really tired and bitchy as a result. I'm no longer sniffly and surly and hence am full of sunshine and rainbows and glitter, and ready to be full of tiny beers.

Jtron, they have grilled cheese sandwiches, and...ungrilled cheese sandwiches. I'm thinking about bringing some peanut butter and jelly, or something. Want me to bring you something? I AM THE QUEEN OF SNACK FOOD.

I'm working right up the block but I don't get out until 6 and I might have to grab some carryout first, depending on how ravenous I am and how unappealing the grilled cheese sounds.

Sock Monkey couldn't make it; he's too busy being draped over the laps of ravishing women in the backs of limos and getting bottle service in the V.I.P section to hang out with nerds like us.

I have about as sparse a social calendar as can be imagined, but somehow things always manage to overlap. I just found out a friend is moving to Silicon Valley and tonight may be my last chance to see him, so I'll be heading to the Hopleaf rather than my beloved Goat. I guess I will see you all in December, unless Eamon manages to drag you back to the Bong, in which case I may see you tonight!

I think it was the Paramount. Phils lost the world series and the good Mefites from Chicago helped me wash the bad taste out of my mouth. Great meeting everyone!
