I meant to post in autumn; I honestly did. But too soon November was on us, and I got distracted by holiday prep. Now that's over, let's us do a meetup!
I can't remember who, but a couple of you offered to have it at your place. Still up for that? If so, what dates work for everyone, and who brings what?

That was us (JazzHands and I) that offered, being as we have the whole Rock Band setup including Beatles Rock Band with drum, guitar, bass, and three microphones. We could jam the night away. As for who brings what, I'd say it would be a potluck, so y'all coming to visit should bring the refreshing beverages and such.
How many people are interested? We are located in Winter Garden, just off of 50.
We do have cats and dogs, in case anyone is allergic.

Yaaay! I've been itching for another one and would love to come.
The mister is violently allergic to dogs, but if we have it at Lokheed's, I can stuff him full of allergy meds. We're in Gainesville, so we'll just count on a trek.

1. Saturday, January 23rd
2. From 7pm until ??
3. We can order out for pizza, or you all can bring heavy hors-d'oeuvres. Think social-friendly finger food, since we'll pretty much be hanging out in the living room and kitchen.
4. A mixture of soda and adult beverages would be most welcome.
BTW - We do have wi-fi in the house (not to mention my home office with a mixture of a couple of desktop machines, two laptops, a netbook, and a mac mini), so there will be ample opportunity for the geeks in the crowd to hop online as desired.

We can keep the dogs corralled either out back or upstairs, if that helps. Obviously there will still be some degree of pet dander around, although we will strive to clean up as much as possible beforehand.

That works for me! I'll cover the Vodka (Kettle One) along with mixers and I can bring some beer also (Yuengling Lager). Any requests for food? I do a mean "pigs in a blanket", lol!

Ack, turns out he has a big work thing that Sunday and can't come, anyway. That doesn't mean that I shouldn't, though, I guess, even if I am losing my DD. We do have a guest room, so if anyone who doesn't want to make the long drive if it gets late can crash overnight. I know PhoB has a long drive and misha, if you come, is a distance as well.

We would totally love to meet yawl but Mr. Doodley has a marathon the following week and if he didn't break training (much) for Thanksgiving, Xmas or New Years...well, you get the idea.

Okay people, this is coming up next weekend. We have had some people contact us for directions, if you are planning on coming and haven't done that, do so soon. We are looking forward so much to hosting this night. I hope some of you guys will pick up a microphone, or else I'll have to, and nobody wants that!

I'll be bringing chips, salsa, and some sort of chili cheese dip (or spinach/artichoke dip, depending on my whim that day :-) Need me to bring any board games, Wii, or Rock Band stuff?
Oh, and I'll have a stash of red wine and some sweet tea or Guinness, depending on what my better half is in the mood for. Let me know if there's anything you need. SO looking forward to this.
