Three of four browsers agree, Mefi is broken.

Right now I need Netscape Navigator 4 to view Mefi correctly. In IE, Opera and Netscape 6, teh last words on the page are " of his recent cranial bleeding.". Maybe it's just me but I doubt it.

It looks like Birddog put a BR Clear="All" tag into the post, which would bump the rest of the content down below the sidebar.

If you close the metafilter side bar the rest of the posts pop back up, using IE6.

I hate to be the heartless bastard, but ... If MeFi isn't the place to post obituary notices every time someone dies, it isn't the place to post get-well wishes either.

You're right, skwm, but I think we're all waiting to let Matt make that call--out of respect. After all, we're supposed to be a community. We should support one another. Sometimes, you have to bend the rules a bit.

BTW, people, if you want to save yourself some scrolling, collapse the sidebar until Matt fixes this.
It happened because the line break is forcing the text to skip around the entire thing.

It's fixed. Matt must be up and about. I wonder whether there's a single morning when he can just wake up, read the papers and relax.
