Mind if I journal? Any of you'se bloggers catch the cartoon in the current online New Yorker yet? Oh, rats! They changed it already... It was a picture of a post-coital couple in bed: him to the left lying on his back smoking a cigarette, her on the right, turning to her PDA on the nightstand and looking over her shoulder and asking that question... Well, it may still be there somewhere: try hitting refresh.

Btw, if I lived in Manhattan I'd spray "Permalinks, You Bastards!" all over the New Yorker's building. If there was any paint left in the can I'd make my way to The New York Observer as well(though I vaguely remember Mo Nickels had figured them out). So Evanizer, you're a painter...

Here's a direct link to the cartoon. (Took a little sniffing around, but I knew it had to be somewhere....)

What's really funny about the cartoon is that she bothers to ask.

more internet related, and less about blogging, this is one of my favourites, though taped to the fridge, from a recent issue, is "o.k., step away from the laptop and hold up your end of the conversation" with a woman holding a gun on her s.o.
