Please add *.met4filter.org to the DNS tables May 7, 2002 6:18 PM Subscribe
Some customers sites I work at block MetaFilter. Thankfully, Met4filter.org works as a backdoor to the front page, but *.met4filter.org doesn't seem to be in the DNS tables. Can we get that, please?

Due to the way that domain is setup, I can't put a wildcard entry in for that other domain.
Why would your workplaces block metafilter in the first place?

Ummm.... 'cause its amazing crack-like properties cause us to spend all our time wildly hitting the refresh button, leaving us slaves to the written word and our actual assigned tasks lying strewn across the cublicle, undone and unremembered?
The blocked message that I get when I try to access MeFi from work says "{employer's name} does not allow access to Mature Sites."

That has to be the first time MeFi has been accused of being mature.
