Quotation marks automatically terminate post titles.

The first post is mine; the post title was supposed to read

1974 Tornado "Superoutbreak"

but it got cut off at the first quotation mark. Grabbingsand's post (the second one) looks like it was cut off inappropriately too (although I could be wrong.)

Don't know if this would be easy to fix, but if a list of "forbidden characters" could be indicated somewhere, that would help matters. (Especially since you can't preview your post title, to the best of my knowledge.)

Yep. My post title was supposed to be a bit more witty that it actually appeared. So maybe a small warning on the "Post a Link" page would be beneficial, just reminding us that quotation marks will abridge post titles in ways we might not expect.

Of course, Matt might be able to manufacture a miraculous workaround...
