Timestamps in wrong timezone June 8, 2003 5:47 PM   Subscribe

I'm logged in, but I'm still seeing timestamps in PST (I'm in EST, and my customize page still says that.)

(Win2K/IE6)...and at work so there may be firewall issues.)

While I have no technical solution for you, I would like to be the first to welcome you to the west coast.

Hmph. Back to normal now. Maybe it was a log-in-from-work-vs.-home thingy.

My prefs (local time, open links in new window) don't work from MetaTalk, even when I'm logged in. But if I hit the MeFi link at the top, I'll go to MeFi, and they'll be there. Then link back here (MeTa) from the top of the MeFi page, and they'll be gone again.

My times are showing up in PST as well. I happen to be on the west coast [of Canada] right now and wondered how MetaFilter knew I was out of the Central time zone.

And as if by magic google is pointing to google.ca now. It doesn't switch back magically to .com when I go back home though.
