help!

is there a way to dictate, using valid CSS, an area height using pxs that isn't dependant on content?

(that didn't make sense...)

ref: http://i.jcterminal.com/
i'm trying to make the header area (the orange spot that sez 'pigeon farm') exactly 75 px tall, but for some reason, i'm just not getting it. i think it's a brain fart, cuz i know it's damned obvious.

(this might be off topic, but i didn't see a 'help me with my weblog' section.

i didn't see a 'help me with my weblog' section

because there isn't one, and I don't want to host one.

Without viewing your source, I can't help you, but I haven't had too many problems giving absolute heights to div boxes before.

Do you have a dev version with non-valid CSS that works, and if so can you drop the URL for it?

Suggestion: ALA's Coders Forum is a fantastic place to ask these questions.
