As previously threatened, I'll be in Dallas for the holidays from the 14th until the 28th. Obviously xmas week is rather hectic for most; any Dallas MeFi's up for a pre-holiday libation* or six? Any suggestions for possible locales as I haven't been back for over 4 years?

*By libations I mean real margaritas with decent tequila and copious amounts of Mexican food as I have full intentions of consuming both in quantities equal to my own body weight by the end of my stay. No. Pasta. Or. Pizza.

Italian MeFites know where the party is.

For my dollar, Gloria's Margaritas are hard to beat. They've got a huge selection of tequilas for the hard to please palate, and some badass food as well. There are at least three in the area, so location probably won't be a problem. And if we can make it for happy hour, the margs. are half-priced. Just my $.02 though, as I'm not a margarita connoisseur.

As far as dates go, I can do anytime through the 19th. The 20th is pops's b-day, so I'll be heading back to the land of Okies for the holidays sometime that day.

The 15th might find me still recovering from jetlag and/or helping my (MeFi lurking) sister move; roadtrips notwithstanding, would Friday or Saturday be a better option for everyone?

I'm getting in just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Too bad the Mavs are out of town during Thanksgiving otherwise I'd be going to see them play.
