South Florida MeFi/MoFi meetup, mid-December, anyone interested? (more inside)
Oh, memememe, even though I'm in Naples. Because I know this is never, ever gonna happen in my neck of the woods again.

Well, see, there could have been one in late October, as I was back in Naples (having lived there for 18 years; now happily in Seattle) for my sister's wedding.

I hope it didn't leave any lasting scars, Danelope.

Just the horrible, crushing emotional ones.
I do have to laugh whenever someone mentions how awful the drivers are in Seattle. Since moving here, I haven't seen a single person barrelling down the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic because they were confused by a median. Or driving backward at 30 MPH in a parking lot to compete for one of the few remaining spots.
Seattle drivers lean more toward controlled chaos, an art perfected by the inhabitants of New York City. They actually know what they're doing when they cut you off.

I'm leaving Florida before Juicylicious will be there, but if the locals would like to do another around that time, go for it. I figured the 18th/19th would be good since it'd probably be too busy for most people to schedule very close to the holidays. Central/Gulf Coast Floridians welcome too, of course.

Oy. Scenes from my everyday life.
And a Saturday (pretty much any Saturday, save Xmas day and the week afterward) is best for me. Particularly if the alcohol is involved.

I'll be there if the time and place is conveniently set.
On preview: Saturdays, Sundays are best.

Coral Springs is right where I'll be, casarkos, so if you have a transportation problem I can give you a lift if you like.

I am in west central Florida, around Sarasota. I might be able to make it to the east coast, thought not relishing the six-hour drive, but have relatives in the area anyway.
Also, I have been making a piss poor effort to link to all the co-resident Mefites who are presentely or formerly from Florida.
